Screening of a ‘work in progress’ of Sequoias of the Sea on April 12, 2024 at the International Ocean Film Foundation Film Festival followed by a Q&A with Directors/Producers Natasha Benjamin and Ana Blanco.

This film chronicles the fight to restore the kelp forests of Northern California. It dives into the devastating collapse of this vital ecosystem and follows the dedicated individuals - fishermen, scientists, and the tribal communities - working tirelessly to bring it back to life.
